Our team at Battlefords Treatment Centre is dedicated to providing personalized programming tailored to each individual because we recognize that everyone’s journey is unique. That’s why we offer a specialized 42-Day Residential Treatment Program designed for adults 18 years of age and older.

42-Day

The 42-Day Adult Residential Treatment Program at Battlefords Treatment Centre offers a unique combination of traditional First Nations, Metis, and Inuit culture and spirituality, accompanied by Western-based best practices for addiction recovery. This innovative approach includes activities such as traditional smudging and sweat lodges, along with classroom-style education sessions and group therapy designed to empower individuals to lead happier, healthier lives.

Please take note of the following admission criteria for the 42 Day Treatment Program:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
To qualify for the Adult Treatment Program, applicants must be Saskatchewan residents.
Prospective participants must be physically and mentally able to engage in the treatment program.
Candidates should abstain from alcohol and other mood-altering substances for a minimum of 72 hours before admission.
Prior to entering treatment, individuals should have addressed any legal, medical, and social matters.

We welcome applications from individuals of all genders and sexual orientations, as well as those with concurrent disorders and high-risk pregnancies.

During treatment at Battlefords Treatment Centres

It’s essential to review the document outlining what to bring and what not to bring to treatment. This information is included with your acceptance letter or available on our website under the Application Forms tab. If you are currently taking any medication, please refer to the restricted medication policy attached to the application.

For the 42-day programs; during the initial 3 weeks of the program, clients may have the opportunity to earn a Sunday pass, allowing them to leave the facility from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Please note that Battlefords Treatment Center has recently implemented a no razor policy; however, hair removal products or electric razors are permitted as substitutes.

Cultural and Spiritual Therapeutic Practices Impairments the Centre can accommodate: both physical and mental disabilities
